Has anyone else encountered this problem?

When configuring WinXP Pro to use as an "image", the NIC
is set to "Auto Detect". Sysprep is then run as the final
stage prior to using "Norton's Ghost" to create the
image. After loading the image onto other computers, the
NIC is now showing "Hardware Default" as its setting!

Further testing has proven that it is Sysprep that is
changing the NIC setting from Auto Detect to Hardware
Default! Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone
have any idea how to prevent this from happening?

Any help would be appreciated!
