Windows that won't close

Hi,
I'm having a problem with some pop up windows with no way to close them. Is
there any way to do it short of rebooting the computer?

Try pressing ALT-F4 while the window has the focus (title bar
displayed in blue).

It will permit you to close almost any open window, not just pop-up ads.
