We have the same problem with Dell machines and Windows XP
Pro. Our 98 and Me machines are fine. Our worst problem
is with the internet connection. The fix for us is to
right click on the network icon in the system tray and
click repair.

I am wondering if there is a longer term fix. Is it a
configuration problem, either with our server or the
workstations? Or is it a problem that is so common that
Microsoft put the repair feature in to make it easy to
recover? Can anyone shed some light on this?
