Hi I'm an end-user and would like to know if I can install
Windows XP on my other PC? It is connected to a router
which in reality, I suppose makes it a (home) network.
Also my girlfriend has a lap top which she would like to
have Windows XP installed on it.
Thanks
Bob

Each separate installation of Windows XP requires a different=20
Product Key (license). If you wish to upgrade other computers,
you will need to purchase a new license for each installation.
Using the same Product Key on a different computer will result
in the inability to activate Windows XP.

And I'd like to be able to only pay for one road tax for both of my cars. Or
maybe I could take my mate out for a meal and we could get away with only
paying for one dinner. Or maybe I could ensure my cheaper car and expect the
same policy to cover my BMW?
Get the idea?

What's harsh about that? He expects three things for the price of one and I
was merely saying would he expect that in other areas of life? And I believe
that was a question, not a statement and, therefore, should have ended with
a question mark.
