Addendum to my orignal question Loading XP

I didn't mention my girlfriend has her own copy of XP she
already has XP installed on her desktop, wants to load it
on her laptop..is it ok to install it on a second personal
system?

No.
The facts that the computers are or are not networked, are used for
home, school, business etc make no difference.
One license, one computer, the way it has always been with all
Microsoft consumer OSs.
If she wants Windows XP on another computer, she (or her boyfriend)
needs to buy another copy.
