Welcome to the real world of business. OEM often fail to
inform. That is the nature of the beast. That is why many
an old computer hacker will tell you never to purchase a
computer with and OS preinstalled. The aggrivations far
outway the conveniance. With an OEM install you will need
a third party software like partition magic to do what you
want. You see that's the real tick off. You now have to
spend extra money to get done what you could have done
with a complete retail copy of XP. Go figure. The other
draw back is that the OEM usually has only one master of
XP and so you may find your license is in fact public and
common to other installs by the same OEM and the time of
the original install. For all you doubters out there just
ask your OEM. You may have the same license as many many
others. How then can you activate? MS comps have the lists
of OEM licenses. Easy really. Good luck.
