Help with Nero 5.5

Can anyone help me with problems using Nero 5.5 to burn CD's ? My husband
uses Win XP home, I use Win XP Pro . We just purchased Nero to burn CD's
with. My husband has a Phillips CD driver & a IDE driver. I have a IDE & an
HP driver. We have tried 3 times to burn CD's. Each time Nero says CD copy
successful but the new CD won't playback ?? Isn't Nero compatible with
XP??Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
