Hi,
I am guessing that you have the "Classic" look setup in folder view in =
other words, when you are browsing thru your Windows, but the Desktop is =
still in XP theme. If you want the Desktop in Classic;
Right click on a blank area of the Desktop, choose "properties" then in =
the "Display" applet, click on the "Appearance" tab at the top. Then in =
the "Windows and buttons" drop down list, choose "Windows Classic =
style", and click "apply" and "OK" as needed on the way out.

>Hello,
I don't think I clarified exactly what I was looking for.
I want the XP Style on whole computer, but "My Computer"
which shows all the drives, is still in classic style and
I don't know how to change it to XP. I tried the
Appearance tab on properties from the display but the "My
Computer" won't change.
Everything was fine until last night and one of my 3 year
old daughters did something on accident when I wasn't
looking then computer re-booted. Ever since then, the "My
Computer" is in classic style.

Hi Again Shawn,
Try using System restore, and restore to a point before where your =
daughters did whatever it was that made the change (like back 3 days =
ago?). post back.

In the my computer, just open it and chance the view to
icons and check to see if it also has group by type
checked.

Do you mean that the task pane down the left hand side with tasks and folder
locations etc has gone? If so just:
Go to My Computer, at the top click Tools>Folder Options, then click Show
Common Tasks in Folders under the tasks section.
