Hi all
I have a few questions regarding my Windows XP Home Edition.
1- Why my Windows logon screen flashes twice before I can type in my
password? Is this normal?
2- Why do some files names saved in my folders have the letters in blue
and the others in black? Does the blue mean something?
3- Why my Windows XP is not remembering the folder where I saved last?
For example: I save a file with the jpeg extension in my clip-art folder,
the next time I want to save another file of the same type into the same
folder, another folder opens up. I have to keep browsing to find my clip-art
folder. This has been going on since yesterday when Microsoft asked my to
download new upgrades.
Don't worry I just ran Norton anti-virus and found no viruses in my
computer.
My last question:
4- I have a Targus Optical Wireless mini mouse. Every time I start my
laptop, windows doesn't recognize the little piece attached in the USB port.
I have to disconnect it and connect it again so that windows finds new the
hardware, then I have to make the mouse communicate with the piece attached
in the USB port. This is a pain in the neck and time consuming.
Is there a fix for this problem?
Sorry for asking so many dumb questions, I am new to this windows XP stuff.
Thanks in advance for your help.
