Hi,
On a recent fix/patch whatever they tell it, offered by Microsoft
and upon executing that patch the address bar has got disabled. The
strangest behaviour is whenever i type in the password on a web page
it appears on the search text box. This is the worst microsoft can do.

Thanks in advance
Purnendu

Hi Purnendu,

Which update/patch exactly was it? In the meantime, see if this helps:

Restore Missing Toolbars in IE and/or Windows Explorer (Line 3)

Thanks a lot Kelly,
It worked. I was thinking of getting rid of IE. Thanks again. It
helped me a lot.
