Wireless media disconnected error

I have a desktop and a laptop computer, both running XP
Professional. Neither will connect to my witeless
Linksys cable router at home. I get a

Media State ...........:media disconnected

message from ipconfig. I fussed around with both
machines at home. I thought it may be my router. This
morning I brought my laptop into work and it gives the
same message here. It has worked in both places uptil
now without problem. Is there a recent upgrade or patch
that has created this error?
