Does anybody know how to set-up a peer-to-peer wireless
connection between two laptops?
Thanks

You'll need a WAP, which is basically a wireless router or hub. Far as I
know, there is no wireless equivalent of a crossover cable. You'll have to
set up the WAP and it acts as a middle man in the communications between
computers. Good thing is, once you have it set up, you can just keep adding
computers to the WLAN. You're not restricted by the number of ports on the
WAP, as you would be with a wired router or hub. HTH

Alain and Ken, there is a wireless equivalent of a crossover cable: an
"Ad Hoc" network. The computers communicate directly with each other,
without an access point. It even works with more than two computers.
Barb Bowman has written a column about it:
Making the Ad Hoc Wireless Connection

That restriction is easy to overcome: get another hub, and connect it
to the uplink port on the first router or hub.
