Sounds, to me, like you may be experiencing a Network
Address Translation (NAT) mapping problem. Your NAT
server may be configured with the wrong mask, or the
start address may be the same as the end address within
your address pool. This may resolve your problem; change
the mask of the address pool to the subnet mask that the
external network uses. Your client machine is trying to
perform a "Loopback" test (by using the 127.0.0.1
loopback address, but that also is failing, because your
subnet mask maybe set to 255.255.255.255. If this
