View Full Version : resetting passwords

If I log on locally to the XP machine and then try to
access a mapped network drive it asks for a network
user_name and password. If I accidentally tick the "save
password" box then XP remembers the settings.

How can I set XP to automatically forget the password
entered to access the mapped network drive each time
someone logs off?

Thanks,
Graham

In the control panel, go to user accounts, select that account, and there is
an option to manage passwords from there. Just delete the ones you don't
want saved.
