I am running XP and use Zone Alarm. Since I
recently "upgraded" ZA to 3.7.143 (free), every time I
boot up I get a Repeat Program alert in ZA that asks if I
want to allow "Spooler SubSystem App" access. I have
denied it several times and I don't seem to find anything
malfunctioning but it reappears every morning. Technical
info in ZA is as follows:
Destination IP: 0.0.0.0:DNS
Application: spoolsv.exe
Version: 5.1.2600.0 (XPClient.010817-1148)
What is "Spooler SubSystem App" and why might I need it?
Is there any reason I shouldn't just tell ZA to not allow
it permission for access? (i.e., change the permission
settings in Program Control?).
