In a small workgroup environment (XP Home), I am running
a DOS app on a share on one of the computers. Given that
that computer's user wants to shut his PC down from time
to time, the other users of the app must manually
reconnect to the mapped drive : by browsing to the drive
for example. Just running the batch file to launch the
app does not reconnect.
Can something be set up that from time to time "queries"
a mapping, or somehow restores the mapping when the
serving PC is started on the network?
