video decompressor

Hi There
I have WinXP and have just installed a new game on my computer, but I am
getting an error when I try to play it.
The error says:
error code -2147221008. This usually means that you don't have the video
decompressor needed, see the multimedia control panel to add one.(maybe you
are missing Indeo5.0)

Could somebody please tell how I add one. Could you please explain in simple
terms as I'm still learning my way around computers.

Hi Nicholas
Thanks for the links but I am still unable to play the game. I did download
a ivf file but it didn't help.
In Windows Media I can go to the play tab at the top and then click on DVD
vcd or cd audio and across to the disk in my drive. It will then play the
cartoony bits of the disk but not actually play the game.
Does anybody else have any other ideas.

I have just downloaded this patch but it hasn't worked. I am still getting
the same error message. Thanks for trying to help though.
