XP (Home) When I try to shut down, XP goes thru the shut
down phase, but the computer doesn't power down and it re
boots. This causes my scanner not to work and the system
is very slow in operation. Tryed BIOS, Power options but
nothing works.

turn automatically restart off in Startup and Recovery to see the error code
upon next crash.
