Hi, I am currently using windows xp home and have a problem when trying to
install older programs. I keep getting the error message
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG.NT, The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose close to terminate the
application" this is in a window which is titled "16 bit Windows Subsystem"
I have tried all the alternatives offered by the "compatability" function
but all to no avail. I would appreciate any help or advice that can or may
be offered. I am also a very new newbie and would like all tips to be
written in "idiot" language.
TIA
