View Full Version : Sharing e-mail account
When my wife and I were setting up our new pc, we each
created a user account. However, this is complicating
our e-mail account, if she logs on as the user and gets
the e-mail, for some reason it doesn't show up when I log
on as a user. Anyway for the e-mail to be "linked"?

Hi Ken,
Using Outlook Express? Yes, there is a way, but it carries with it a =
danger.
Log into either account and open OE. Click tools/options/maintenance and =
click on the store folder. Moved it to a folder or drive shared by both =
users. Close up and logoff, then log into the other identity. Repeat the =
procedure, selecting the same store folder.
Danger: Do NOT use fast user switching without closing OE. If you fail =
to remember to close it, the mail store will be corrupted and probably =
beyond recovery.
