I have also gotten the RPC error and used the symantic
tool to remove it. The tool said there was no blaster worm
on my computer. I did install the Microsoft patch and this
seems to have helped the RPC problem. I am still getting
the cwengine error when I open Internet explorer. This
started at the same time as the RPC error.

The cwengine is a file used by a program called content watch. It
filters out unwanted adult emails and also runs on the machine to
check and erase adult content. I have seen this problem, and
uninstalled the software. Everything should work ok. On a couple of
machines I had to reconfigure the email program they were using.
