Dial-Up Networking won't remember my Password

When try to dial up CompuServe it won't connect. It says
username or password not valid. When I try to reconnect
[To change the saved password, click here.] appears in the
Password box.

I have no trouble connecting through the Compuserve site
with the same username and password.
