Hi LW,

You must be using NTFS, and the files/folders you wish to privatize must =
be stored under your local profile. Thse may help:

If you are running XP Home:

HOW TO: Set the My Documents Folder as "Private" in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=3Dkb;en-us;298399

You Cannot Select the "Make This Folder Private" Option
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=3Dkb;en-us;307286=20

"The Make this folder private option requires the NTFS file system".
