Hi,

I am put off by the 'my' designation on personal folders. A quirk, maybe,
but I would like to change it.

The problem is that they're folders managed and renamed by the system, from
"My" to "Jane's" and back again

Can I rename them? Can I move them, say to a subfolder named "Microsoft
Folders"?

Can I just get rid of them? How or why not?

Help is not helpful. Searching on "My Downloads" or personal folders
reveals little about how to control them.

I'm grateful for the help.

To move the 'My Documents' folder, right-click on 'My Documents' from
Windows Explorer and select Properties. On the Target tab, select the new
folder location and click OK.
