In XP Pro or Home Edition with Outlook 2000. My son and I
will share the computer and both want to have
administrator priveledges while at the same time, we want
our Outlook e-mail accounts password protected. Niether
will have the capability to change the other's password to
gain access. Is this possible in Pro, Home Edition or
either? Have searched for hours for an answer! What are my
options, we do not want to use other e-mail requiring
address change.

Well, there are a couple of things to do.

First of all, you need to secure access to the server, which is easy enough
because most all mail servers require a password to connect and fetch email.
Just change this so that it's an unknown.

Next, email is downloaded to a local file. If you go into mail properties
from the control properties, navigate to the control panel, and add a
password to the local file you have set up.
