View Full Version : Task Manager problem?

When using CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up Task Manager to close a problem app it
appears to work but the tabs disappear and I can't close it. Only way out
of it is to re-boot. Will "sfc /scannow" fix it or should I do a Repair
Install? PC still works OK and Task Manager still works, just no tabs and
it won't close!

Double click the border (edge) of the task manager and the tabs will come
back.

That works great, thanks, I had visions of all sorts of complicated "fixes"
and it's so simple. Any idea what causes the problem in the first place?

You're welocme. I don't know why it changes, most likely a user double
clicked it by accident. I've seen worse happen......by "accident".
