TASK BAR FILE NAME TRUNCATED

Hello

When I open a Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer file
on my computer, the file name on my task bar is just a
single alphabet.
What is wrong? How can I correct it to show the full file
name for the open window.

PLEASE HELP.
