Sender Details

[Carol and Allen Bredt]

When I saved a newsgroup post or OE 6 email by doing Save As and opened it
in Word 2002, it had all the details of who sent it etc.

Those details aren't there any more.

How can I get them to be there in new saved posts?

I saved your reply by File, SaveAs and it saved it as a .nws file. When I
try to open it in Word, it gave me a message "Re_Sender Details is Not a
valid web archive"

When I save it as a .txt file, it opens it without the sender details and
Alt+Enter gives me a blank dark grey screen where the document was.

Carol, you can just double click NWS files. They will open in the OE message
window without the entire OE program launching. Using that window, press
Alt+Enter. You can copy/paste the sender details from that screen into Word
if that is what you'd like to do.
