I used the Network ID wizard to add my computer to out
windows 2000 domain. I setup a new profile and everything
seemed to be a success. But when I tried to access my
previous profile to copy all my shortcuts and files they
were gone as well as all the user created files on every
other profile on the computer. I tried the undelete
command as well as norton undelete with no success. So, I
assume they were not deleted. How can I retreive the
files?

Have you looked in \Documents and Settings? Are the files really gone?

That was the first place I looked. The SOME of the
profiles are there but every one of them is missing their
user created flies, links, and shortcuts.

And you are not running into a permissions problem that keeps you from
seeing the contents?

Might be worth using the recovery console to browse around.
