Password problems with Dial Up Networking

Everytime I connect to the internet or office vpn I am
asked for my user name and password. Whether or not I ask
for these credentials to be saved I get the following
error.

Error 1726 :Remote Procedure Call Failed

Cannot save password
Cannot delete password

This cannot be cured by deleting passwords in User
Accounts control panel, ive tried it.
