lock icon

I am currently experiencing a problem where my computer
shows I am logged on to the internet(connection icon in
tray), but none of my programs can access the internet.
For some reason, my dial and LAN up network connection
icons now have a small lock in the corner of each. How
do i unlock these connections? Thanks for any help.

The lock just means you are running the firewall. It's probably not your
problem, can you give us some more details?
