Hi,
I have had problems with a programme called UK Video that
puts a shortcut on desktop, This is a very porno site and
I have a 4yr old son who knows how to use a 'puter better
than me ! How can I stop this from keeping reappearing?
Its not a site I have visited so I don't know where it's
come from. Please Help! (After I deleted it last night I
couldn't connect today, after foning my ISP we discovered
my LAN settings had been changed to "use a proxy", how's
that happen ???)
TIA Kev B.

Sometimes on Pop-up ads if you click on 'additional information' it causes a
download to your computer changing various items such as a dialed phone
number. It will actually dial the number then. Then when you get your next
phone bill you'll have a charge for using their site. As for getting rid of
the shortcut, you have to delete it. Take note of its name and do a registry
search and delete it there.

Thanks for your help, had nothing but trouble the last
two days, couldnt figure out why my "sides" b/band
wouldnt work when all other users (2) did, Can this be
legal ? Still really need to know how to bloock things
that I don't go near. Surely this cannot be legal ?
