The 30 day trial period has expired on my XP and I want to
revert back to the previous 98 version I was running. The
only option I keep getting is to call microsoft to
activate the product. How to I go back short of
reformatting?
Thanks, Hank

If you didn't however, you have no option but to format and start clean.

If you upgraded from 98 to XP and chose to save your 98 settings, you can
uninstall Windows XP by using the Add/Remove Programs wizard located in the
Control Panel.
