View Full Version : My backspace key no longer functions

When I highlight text and hit the backspace or enter key
the highlighted text no longer erases. When I hit the
backspace key the cursor goes to the front of the
highlighted text. When I hit the return key it moves to
the back of the text.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong and how to
fix it? I'm not a computer person so please make the
instructions explicit.

Thanks so much in advance.

Try another keyboard. (borrow one from work or a friend.) That is the
easiest. If theirs works, buy a new one . If it does not then it is a
software/OS issue.
