I am having problems using authentication for a web page I am running on one
of my XP Pro systems. Heres the deal, I have set a web page up requiring
users to logon, but when they logon with the demanded login screen
everything runs super super slow. If they include the login and password in
the url it speeds up to normal speed but than the video streams are having
problems playing in Windows Media player saying the server is busy. Yet if
they log in manually it works fine. Ok now if the user logings in with the
domain of the computer and username than it works at normal speed
Login: computername\username
Password: dog
Speed is normal and videos play
url with password
http:\\user:password@mywebpage:port
Speed is good but streams won't play, yet the link is also sending the login
in info
Login: username
password: dog
Slow Slow connection but works...
Well any infor would be cool..
Thanks
