How to enable form autocomplete and password remember

Hi,
I have been trying for weeks now to make my internet
explorer remember my passwords and autocomplete for forms.
Even though I have enabled it in IE, some security setting
somewhere is over riding this feature. I would appreciate
if some one could please put me out this misery of having
to type in my passwords!
