router problems

Hi,

Whenever I connect a Win XP system to my router, the internet stops working.
I tried 2 different routers with 2 different WinXP systems and the same
problem occured. The other computers on the router are Win2k and NT4. The
internet works for a minute or so, then it gets slower and slower and
finally stops. It keeps looking for the page but eventually times out. I
installed Win2k on one of the WinXP systems and everything worked fine when
it was running Win2k. Any suggestions?
