This is driving me crazy! I keep getting disconnected
from my isp every time I log on with ie 6. I ca get my
mail using Outlook and leave it up and will not be
disconnected until a shhort time usually less than a
minute or to of bringing up opening Internet Explorer.
This just started happening in the last 2 weeks so I
thought I might have gotten a virus or something. I have
Norton system works and have scanned for viruses and
worms and have found none. I am positive it is not my isp
as I am connecting on my wifes system right now and do
not get dropped connections. I can't download anything
including updates for the last couple of weeks as my
connection won't stay up that long on my system. I am
running XP home. Any help or ideas would be greatly
appreciated. I also tried to reinstall Office telling it
to repair any bad files and that also did not help. I
also am usning a dialup service.
Thanks for your time. Dennis

You shoul also scan for parasites. Normal virus search engines don't detect
them.
