i tried downloading the latest version of explorer from
microsoft but after setup a window pops up sayin my
version is A NEWER VERSION . I need to reinstall over
mine due to error message. can anyone please help??

It's very sad. The folks using the CDO probably need the most help too. That
interface makes it very difficult for them to use the newsgroups effectively
and to find their answers.

Many sites have some directions for setting up Outlook Express quickly for
newsgroup reading. Here's a link to one of them:
http://thetabletpc.net/support.htm The OE directions are at the bottom
half of the page.

I've been saying for so long now, that this interface
should be ceased, and using a proper (or even OE ;o) )
newsreader should be encouraged.
