View Full Version : installing Nero

I'm installing Nero CD burning and the directions say to
make sure I turn off AUTO INSERT NOTIFICATIONS for every
CD drive on the IDE bus, including the CD recorder
itself. There are directions to do this, but their
directions don't match up with the dialog boxes that are
on my pc. I can't find the AUTO INSERT in device manager.
And my CD recorder is not listed there, just the CD-Rom
drive that came with my pc. Infact my I/O magic external
USB 2.0 48x16x48 CD-RW drive only shows up in my computer
page when I turn it on. And when I turn it off is not
listed as an installation anywhere. Is there something
I'm doing wrong in that area too? Can anyone help? Please?

This is where Autorun resides, you can turn it off here.
