OS is a Compaq with winXP, the problem is after deleting a numerous amount
of movie files the system locked up, alt. ctrl. & delete also would'nt
work, after a manual shutdown, the switch on restart separated from the
base, this is a two part switch, a button that makes contact with a switch,
to the best of my knowldge this a common problem with Compaqs? After the
quick and easy repair just removing side cover and realign the button to
switch, now on a reboot he (my brother) is getting an erra message,
unmountable_boot_volume 0xooooooED
(0x80F66978,0xC0000006,0x00000000,0x00000000) any help would be highly
appreciated, thank you!
