I am attempting to use the Files And Settings Transfer Wizard to move
files from my old Win95 PC to my new WinXP machine, using a serial
cable.
When I run the wizard, both PCs say they are searching for the other
machine, warning that it 'may take a minute', but nothing happens
beyond that, they just carry on doing that for an hour or more - no
success but no error message either. Does anybody have any suggestions
on what the problem could be?
