I recently bought a laptop with Windows XP Home. I'd
like to buy a Excel/Access/Powerpoint/Word suite, but
none of them seem to be compatible? Can this be? I
can't seem to find a definitive answer.

They work on all 3 of my machines. Exactly what issue do you actually have?

Greetings --
Office 97 on up through Office XP are all compatible with WinXP.
Where'd you get the strange idea that they weren't?

Thanks! I got the strange idea because I can't find a
single reseller that lists Windows XP Home as compatible
with Office XP pro...although they list virtually every
other windows version. Microsoft's website is an
impenetrable morass and getting help on questions about
their software on this site is apparently impossible.
Thought this might be a way of getting some help.

Greetings --
It would have been quicker just to look at the Office box and read
the minimum requirements. ;-}
