Compatibility Mode

has anyone had any success with Compatibility Wizard?
I've tried it on 3 different programs and it hasn't helped with any.

The OS section only lies to the program about the windows version. (you =
don't mention Dos but Dos uses the setver command to do the same - =
programmers have stuffed up version checking since the dawn of time).

Windows has hundreds of compatability options but you need to install =
the Application Compatability Toolkit from the XP CD (same folder as =
support tools).

It probably is not a compatability issue though, you should detail exact =
problem and programs.
