View Full Version : ICS unable to start

I am trying to setup a Windows XP Home computer with
ICS. The computer has the correct IP address and the
second computer on the network is receiving its IP
address from the computer that is trying to share the
connection.

When I try to start the ICS service it fails because of
dependancies. In looking at the dependancies, all the
other services are running except Remote Access
Connection Manager. When I try to manually start this
service, it fails and returns a denied access message.
This service is logging on using the Local System account.

Any ideas on how to get this service started? Thanks
