The compatability mode works quite effectively for most
programs. However you must realize that XP does not have
DOS. It is not written on or over DOS and therefore does
not have it. It has a DOS emulator by way of a command
line interface but if your program is true DOS then no
amount of compatability wizardry will get it to work. Good
