lost user

My user "Administrator" is nowhere to be found. It's just
disappeared! I tried finding it through the control panel,
users, but it's not there! I searched in My Computer and
found that the Administrator still exists under Documents
and Settings, but, how do I get it back on my log in
screen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The built in Adminstrator account disappears when a new user account is
added. This is normal in Windows XP Pro. The system created account is
intended to be used as a reserve account for troubleshooting purposes.

To access this account, press Ctl+Alt+Del+Del at the Welcome Screen. The
old fashioned Win2000 logon window will appear. Type Administrator for
username and, if it applies, enter your password.

You can use TweakUI for XP to reverse this default behavior. A menu setting
will put the Administrator account back on to the welcome screen if that is
what you prefer.

Open Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management. On the left
pane, expand 'Local Users and Groups' and select Users under that. Now on
the right side you should find Administrator user account listed.
