View Full Version : How to fix the CASE?

I just could not get my web page going after publishing it with
Frontpage 2002. After days of messing around I found the anwser.:
My ISP runs a UNIX system which is case sensitive. Frontage on my XP
Pro is case insensitive. "INDEX.HTM" is saved as "index.htm" . Other
file names are published in all kinds of format. I cannot even find a
rule for it.
My plan is to force XP to save all names in small letters. Is there a
setting somewhere?
Thanks

There are lots of things like this you have to watch for when creating a web
site. I believe some browsers won't even cope with spaces in file names.
