Hi folks

Unlike most people here I cant stop XP Home connecting to the internet when
I log on. I've disabled all automatic connections via 3rd party software (
live updates , messenger etc).
I'm using Internet connection sharing Gateway with an XP Pro machine hosting
ADSL. Everytime I disconnect or disable the connection it reconnects within
a minute or so.
I've run task manager/processes to try to identify the source but no luck
....any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Martin

Tpical things I would 1st check would be, run latest updated virus killer,
run AdAware ( www.lavasoft.de) and SpyBot Seek & Destroy
(http://security.kolla.de if i recall right that url) incase of Trojans etc.

Install some decent firewall, free one, like ZoneAlarm www.zonelabs.com
(pro version costs, but normal version is free). Atleast Firewall would show
thing/component that connects to internet...
