I have a Toshiba Portege 3500 with Windows XP tablet PC version and
1GB memory.
It also has built-in bluetooth, 802.11b wireless card as well as an
ethernet adapter.

When ethernet adapter is enabled and wirelss card is disabled or both
are disabled, I have no problem hibernating nor suspending.

When wireless card is enabled, it always brings up a BSOD saying
IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error and something about NDIS.SYS

I am using Secure Remote software to VPN into my Data Servers.

I have tried all tips that I can find on Google and Google Group, but
nothing seems to work.

I would appreciate any idea on it.

Thank you,

James Choo

Drivers. Keep checking with Toshiba for driver updates for the wifi card. In
the mean time, if you wish to hibernate just disable the wifi connection,

Walter:

Thank you for your reply.
I also found out the if I log out then I can go into Hibernation.
I guess that is consistent with your recommendation.

Thanks,

James
